The Department of Civil Engineering is accredited by NBA
under Tier-I until June 30, 2025. It offers a program
aimed at producing skilled, high-quality graduates
proficient in information technology and professional
conduct. The department emphasizes community service and
sharing advanced technical knowledge with engineers and
the public.
Students gain hands-on experience with
modern equipment in laboratories and through projects
with local construction companies. Specialized fields of
faculty expertise include Structural Engineering,
Earthquake Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources,
Foundation Engineering, Construction Management,
Transportation Engineering, and Entrepreneurship. The
department strives to be a model for civil engineering
education, focusing on quality professional and
community services.
