Department Profile

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) established in 1998, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at SVCET has witnessed significant growth. The department's undergraduate program intake has steadily increased over the years, reflecting its growing reputation. The B.Tech. program itself has been consistently accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) since 2006, a testament to its quality.

The CSE department offers a hands-on, industry-oriented B.Tech. program in Computer Science and Engineering. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for success in the ever-evolving IT industry. The department boasts state-of-the-art labs, well-equipped classrooms, and a well-stocked library to facilitate a rich learning experience. Additionally, the department's active student chapters and its choice-based elective system allow students to explore their areas of interest.

PSO Code Objective
PSO-1 Demonstrate the knowledge of Computer Sciences and Cyber Security specially in the broad areas of Computer Programming, Database Management, Data Security, System Security and Network Security.
PSO-2 Develop analytical and design skills pertaining to Computer Sciences and Cyber Security to solve complex and real time engineering problems and systems.
PSO-3 Solve problems using existing tools or designing new tools and techniques in the domains of Computer Sciences and Cyber Security in compliance to ethical norms and standards.
