Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering & Technology (SVCET) is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, respectful and supportive campus environment in which every student can participate freely in academic, co-curricular and social activities. The institution promotes a culture of mutual respect, dignity, equality and responsible behaviour among students, faculty and staff.

The institution adopts preventive and responsive mechanisms to safeguard student wellbeing and address concerns that may affect their safety, dignity or sense of belonging. Students are encouraged to approach their faculty mentors, Heads of Departments and institutional support authorities whenever they experience difficulties or require assistance. The Mentor–Mentee System provides an additional support channel through which student concerns can be identified, discussed and appropriately addressed. Serious issues are escalated to the concerned institutional authorities for suitable action.

SVCET promotes an inclusive campus culture through student mentoring, personal counselling, academic guidance, career counselling and holistic development initiatives. Mentors also support students in overcoming personal issues that may affect their studies and provide guidance for improving academic and professional development.

The institution strives to ensure that students feel safe, valued, heard and supported, thereby creating a positive campus environment conducive to learning, personal growth, employability and higher education progression.
